How long are sprks events?
Typical run time is between 3-4 hours. There will be many engaging activities we work through, including food!

How will I know who I matched with or if someone likes me? How do I get to talk to someone safely?
Part of our event programming is designed to address this very crucial step, details to be shared at events. You will leave knowing and meeting who you match with/who is interested in you.
What is the event interest form and can I fill out more than one?
We encourage you to fill out more than one. In fact, meeting people from where you are from (your city), is not a proven strategy to help you match! You need to visit other cities. That helps you match! The form is used in the selection process, we are focused on inviting people to the event that have a high likelihood of matching. The event interest form is just that, you are telling sprk organizers you are interested in attending an event. Please be very open and honest when filling out the form as it is used to survey all respondents, we are looking for people who are likely to match so your honest responses are necessary for the process to work effectively.
When do I find out when and where the event is happening?
After reviewing your application, and if selected, you will be sent a request for attendance and payment ($125 Canadian), event date and time will be shared with this request as well. Several factors are considered when selecting attendees for events, so please be open and honest when filling out the questionnaire. Once payment is received, you will receive confirmation that a seat has been saved for you at the event. We will include the very private location details of the event with the confirmation. Please keep those confidential.
What types of activities do you run?
All our activities are developed with psychologists and relationship experts. The exact activities are a secret, there will be different activities at each event.
What if I am late/need to leave early?
Our events start and end on time. Tardiness will have you miss critical components of the process, a process that is designed to help you connect with someone.
How and when do I pay and when do I know I am confirmed to attend an event?
Once you fill out the event interest form and there is enough interest in an event, our teams runs the selection process. If selected, you will receive an email from our selection team where you will be asked to submit payment ($125 CAD) by a certain date. If payment is received by said date you will receive confirmation of your attendance via email. If you fill out an event interested form but don't receive an email from our selection team don't worry, forms stay open and as more people sign up we keep considering you for future events for the city you signed up for.
My mom/dad wants to come, what do I tell her???!!!
Chaperones, moms, dads, aunties are allowed to join. They will be seated at their own table with other chaperones. They will not be allowed to engage with other guests, or activities, only with their chaperones and without disturbing the events proceedings.
